Opportunities
Zimbabwe is encouraging long-term greenhouse gases GHGs emissions reduction strategy which should be operationalised. This calls for adaptation strategies to suit government requirements. These government initiatives will mean a change in traditional ways of doing business. CSC is the best company to partner with for sustainable development strategies that will see positive environmental impacts and good brand reputation.
The new government initiatives to reduce carbon emissions by 40% will see the emergency of EVs and their support infrastructure (EV Mobile Policy 2021). To help organisations transition and increase EV demand, CSC will install and develop adequate EV charging infrastructure and support services that are reliable, efficient, and affordable.
CSC will take government EV support programme to identify viable spaces for the construction of EV charging infrastructure.
We would like to start by erecting our environmentally friendly infrastructure along the 2 Major highways: Beitbridge to Masvingo Via Harare, Harare to Plumtree. Secondly, we will look at capacitating Ministries’ car parks, businesses and private residential houses.

History
Creative Smart Cities was established to help support organizations and individuals, both private and public to be active in combating climate change by practicing of responsible and sustainable business practices. The main aim of this being to further the adoption of EVs that have been found as a better cleaner option as compared to ICE vehicles that are part of the major causes of Green House Gases emissions. These GHGs are helping increase temperatures which is influencing natural disasters like floods, hunger, and others. By such investors are now avoiding investing in such businesses that have no regard for the environment. The UN on the sidelines of this is rallying governments to begin to monitor and influence the activities of businesses to curb climate change (UN SDGs 2022).
The world over ecosystems are being affected by climate change and environmental damage due to irresponsible business practices. In this regard, CSC wishes to help support organisations with support in the development of sustainable solutions that will help reduce the emissions of GHGs and improve the demand for EVs through construction of EVs support infrastructure. The responsible efforts by organisations to curb climate change will go a long way in keeping the world safe current and future generations. Societies see organisations as exploitative and do not give regard to any consequences of their actions.
In the international markets consumers and clients are also tracing the downstream activities along the supply chain to see if the goods are being produced with the businesses practicing best environmental interests. Creative Cities prides in vast experiences of its directors who are well travelled and have learnt abroad recently in Europe and South Africa where we got inspiration through attachments and consulting. In Borrowdale, Pomona area he timeously completed the servicing of another gated community. All amenities are compliant with the city requirements and ready to occupy.
Creative Cities is also currently establishing another gated community in Glen Lorne. This gated community will have luxurious 20 homes and 30 lifestyle apartments. Road construction is underway as surveying, geo-maps, road designs and EIA have all been approved.
This project will be the first of its kind in Zim as it will be having a garden, community greens shop, community bar, leisure centre for parties, gym, community electric bus that comes to Harare CBD four times a day, biogas digester, among other eye-catching facilities. On this Project our biogas will provide heated water to homes and can be used for cooking too to reduce overloading the electricity greed. We have also crafted a constitution that all households must have at least 10 solar panels for you to be accepted as a community member. This we believe will go a long way in supporting UN SDGs and Zimbabwe’s NDS1 to mitigate global warming for a sustainable future.
